Katie Price has stated she feels "upset, abused and humiliated" following reports that her husband, Lee Andrews, was allegedly planning to sell a sex tape of the couple for £250,000. The allegations surfaced after Andrews was reportedly arrested again in Dubai.
Reports, citing a voice note allegedly sent by Andrews to a friend before his detention on fraud allegations, claimed he discussed a tape that could be sold for a significant sum. The alleged recording reportedly features Andrews stating he needed to "get cash quickly" and suggesting the tape could earn him £250,000. The reports also suggest he later backtracked, claiming he was joking and that they had OnlyFans as an alternative.
However, Price issued a statement refuting the claims. "This story is completely untrue. I have never made such a tape and any suggestion otherwise is false and deeply misleading," she stated. "The claims appear to be based on a voicenote sent from Lee discussing a tape...a tape which does not exist and never will. This material has been passed to The Sun by a third party and does not reflect reality."
Andrews, 43, was jailed again last week, just a month after his release from Dubai's Al Awir prison, where he had been held on fraud allegations. His father was also reportedly imprisoned in the same Dubai facility on suspicion of fraud.
Friends of Price have reportedly urged her to end her marriage to Andrews, citing the ongoing drama and "white noise" her husband's legal issues are bringing. Sources suggest that Andrews is attempting to raise collateral to return to the UK.
This is not the first time Andrews has faced legal trouble. He was previously released from Al Awir prison after being detained for fraud, though he has claimed he was captured at gunpoint and suspected of espionage. He has also been accused by ex-partners of financial misconduct, which he has denied.
Earlier this year, Andrews reportedly took out a £200,000 mortgage in the name of his ex-fiancée Dina Taji without her knowledge, leading to legal action and a travel ban from Dubai. Another ex-partner, Crystal Janke, claimed Andrews hoodwinked her into investing a substantial sum in his company with promises of a large return.
