Katie Holmes was seen holding hands with artist Jason Bard Yarmosky last week in the Hamptons, fueling speculation about a romance between the two. The 47-year-old actress and Yarmosky, 39, attended the premiere of "The Invite" in East Hampton.
The pair arrived at the theater together and were observed holding hands as they entered. Holmes wore a white shirt paired with a green satin skirt featuring floral details, with her hair pulled back in an updo and accessorized with dangly earrings and a red Chanel purse. Yarmosky was dressed in an all-black ensemble.
An eyewitness told People that Yarmosky appeared to be whispering in Holmes' ear, and she was laughing. "They seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night," the source said. The two reportedly sat together during the movie, with Holmes resting her head on his shoulder at one point.
They also attended an after-party later that evening, mingling with friends. A representative for Holmes has not yet responded to requests for comment.
Yarmosky, born in New York in 1987, focuses his artwork on themes of aging, time, and memory, according to his official website. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2010, and his work has been exhibited internationally.
This outing follows Holmes' recent public appearance with her "Dawson's Creek" co-star Joshua Jackson at the Tribeca Festival last month. The pair, who had a brief relationship during the early seasons of the show, reunited for the screening of their new movie, "Happy Hours."
During the festival, Jackson spoke about their reunion, calling their time together "precious" and expressing excitement about working with Holmes again. Holmes described her working relationship with Jackson as "sacred" and noted their mutual desire to collaborate on a project again.
"Happy Hours," written and directed by Holmes, explores the theme of former sweethearts reconnecting years later. The film also stars Mary-Louise Parker, Joe Tippett, and Constance Wu.
Holmes was previously romantically linked to musician Bobby Wooten III, with whom she split in December 2022 after an eight-month relationship. Before that, she dated chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. from September 2020 to May 2021.
Holmes was married to actor Tom Cruise from 2006 to 2012. They share a daughter, Suri, who is now 20 years old.
