The Princess of Wales, Catherine, made a notable return to public duties on Saturday, attending the annual Windsor charity polo match to support her husband, Prince William. This appearance marks a significant moment as she continues her recovery following a cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

Catherine, 44, arrived at Guards Polo Club in Windsor dressed in a summery, sleeveless blue and white gingham dress by Temperley, paired with slingback pumps from Camilla Elphick. She was accompanied by Squadron Leader Mike Reynolds, an equerry to Prince William, and accessorized with sunglasses for the bright summer day. This marks her first attendance at the event in two years, with her last appearance in 2023, prior to her cancer announcement in March.

Prince William, who participated in the match wearing his '4' navy blue jersey, appeared in high spirits. The event serves as an important fundraiser for charities supported by the Prince and Princess of Wales, including Wales Air Ambulance and Evelina London Children's Hospital. This year's match is expected to bring the total funds raised to over £15 million.

Following her diagnosis, Catherine has been undergoing treatment and has recently completed the Three Peaks Challenge, an initiative aimed at promoting messages of life after cancer. Her appearance at the polo match signifies her continued return to public engagements as she undergoes treatment and recovery.
