Kalshi, a prediction market platform, has launched a new "Midterms Hub" designed to provide users with real-time odds and insights into the 2026 U.S. Senate and House races. The feature aggregates live market odds, incorporating factors such as news, analysis, and voter surveys, and displays them on a national electoral map.

The "Midterms Hub" aims to serve as a comprehensive resource for election forecasting, offering a snapshot of current expectations for individual contests. According to Kalshi, the odds update dynamically as news breaks, debates occur, polls are released, and results come in.

The platform integrates polling averages, allowing users to compare market pricing with traditional voter surveys. It also includes recent Federal Election Commission fundraising reports for candidates and curated news coverage. While Kalshi is known for event contracts where users can bet on outcomes, the company stated that the new hub is also intended for users seeking election insights without direct wagering. Kalshi reports that approximately three-quarters of its visitors monitor current odds rather than placing trades.

Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour described prediction markets as providing an unfiltered perspective, free from political bias. He stated that these markets reflect "the wisdom of the crowds actually believes, backed by real money, not rhetoric," offering a clarity that is currently rare. This launch is part of Kalshi's broader strategy to expand its political offerings in anticipation of the November midterms, following the introduction of its "American Power Index" in May, a tool designed to gauge political party momentum.

The expansion of Kalshi's political forecasting tools comes as increased activity is expected in election-related prediction markets during the midterms, mirroring trends seen in previous major elections. The platform has faced scrutiny regarding election betting; in April, Kalshi suspended and fined three candidates for betting on their own races. In June, the company also requested the removal of content from affiliated influencers who allegedly promoted betting odds while suggesting market manipulation in a mayoral race.
