Justin Timberlake shared a rare series of family photos on Instagram, posting a 10-slide slideshow on Tuesday that featured his wife, actress Jessica Biel, and their two sons, Silas, 11, and Phineas, 6. The post comes after a period marked by career difficulties and legal issues for the singer.
Timberlake, who has 178.4 million social media followers, captioned the photos simply with "Been outside." The slideshow included images of his sons, with one showing Phineas golfing alongside the singer, and another of Silas with a dessert. The couple is set to celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary on October 19.
Timberlake and Biel first met in 2007 in Park City, Utah. Before his relationship with Biel, Timberlake was reportedly linked to several other celebrities, including Britney Spears and Cameron Diaz. Biel previously dated Adam LaVorgna, Chris Evans, and Derek Jeter.
Career and Legal Developments
In July, Timberlake concluded his "Forget Tomorrow World Tour," a 121-date, $205.2 million-grossing tour. The tour faced scrutiny and backlash for performances where audiences appeared to sing more lyrics than the artist. Timberlake had also canceled or postponed several dates due to various health issues, including the flu, bronchitis, laryngitis, an ankle injury, and a persistent back injury.
Last year, Timberlake disclosed his diagnosis with Lyme disease, describing it as "relentlessly debilitating, both mentally and physically." He joins other public figures who have spoken about their experiences with the tick-borne illness, such as Yolanda and Bella Hadid, Justin Bieber, and Amy Schumer.
In 2024, Timberlake pleaded guilty to driving while impaired (DWI) in Sag Harbor, New York. He was fined $760, agreed to perform 25 hours of community service, and had his New York driver's license suspended for 90 days. Timberlake refused a breathalyzer test, and charges related to running a stop sign and failing to maintain his lane were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
Despite these challenges, Timberlake continues to maintain a significant presence in the music industry, with 57.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 32 million solo records sold, in addition to the 80 million records sold with his former group *NSYNC. His career began at age 12 as a cast member on "The All-New Mickey Mouse Club."
Jessica Biel has upcoming projects, including the spy comedy "Matchbox: The Movie," set to premiere on Apple TV on October 9, and roles in the drama "Batso" and a reboot of her sitcom "7th Heaven."
