Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has proposed to pop star Madison Beer. Beer revealed the engagement on social media Tuesday, showcasing a substantial diamond ring Herbert presented to her. She shared a TikTok video featuring the ring, captioning it "my fiancé." Additional posts on her Instagram page included twelve photos of the couple celebrating their engagement with the caption, "meet my fiancé."
The engagement announcement drew congratulations from various figures, including the Chargers' official Instagram account, which commented, "our favs are getting married." Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker also offered his well wishes, writing, "Yessssss!!!!!!" Beer's mother, Tracie, expressed her joy, stating her "heart is glowing" and her "soul is fulfilled."
Herbert and Beer's relationship began approximately one year ago. They made their public debut when Herbert kissed Beer during pre-game warmups last September. The couple has not shied away from sharing their relationship publicly, with Beer featuring Herbert in a music video released in May. Herbert had previously missed some offseason workouts to attend Beer's concerts abroad. Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh indicated he was supportive of Herbert's attendance at the concerts, telling reporters, "He told me he wasn’t gonna be here for those two weeks, and my first reaction was, ‘Do you need a ride to the airport?’"
Herbert has since returned to Chargers activities as an engaged man.
