Junior Andre, son of Peter Andre and Katie Price, has revealed he had a childhood crush on his now stepmother, Emily. The 21-year-old made the confession during an episode of his sister Princess’s reality series, "The Princess Diaries."

Princess, 19, brought up the subject, recalling an incident where Junior asked Emily to sleep in his tent when they were camping. Junior then confessed that he did fancy Emily and admitted to crying when his father, Peter Andre, announced he was going to make Emily his girlfriend. "I cried to you or something, because you said that Emily is going to be your girlfriend and I cried and said 'no she's my girlfriend'," Junior stated, as quoted by the Daily Mail.

Emily, who is 15 years older than Junior, first met her stepson when he was around five years old and Princess was three. Peter Andre and Emily have been married since 2015, with Emily being a practicing doctor.

The revelation comes as "The Princess Diaries" continues to feature candid moments from the Andre-Price family. In an earlier episode, Princess discussed her mother Katie Price's turbulent love life, stating she does not pay attention to the 'extreme' nature of her mother's romantic relationships. Katie Price has been married four times and has had numerous engagements. Her current husband, Carl Woods, has faced accusations of scamming ex-partners and has been imprisoned.

Princess also reflected on her childhood, particularly the period when her mother struggled with mental health and addiction following her divorce from Kieran Hayler. During this time, Junior was 13 and Princess was 10, and they became responsible for looking after their younger siblings. Junior recalled the difficulty of this period, stating, "That was probably the most difficult time of my life, our lives." He also described instances where he had to figure out how to provide meals for himself and his siblings.

Katie Price herself has appeared in the reality series, offering advice to her children about happiness and the nature of fame. She cautioned them about attracting the wrong people when successful and advised them to keep their circle small. This season marks the first time both Katie Price and Peter Andre will appear in the show together, a development Junior believes "solidifies their truce" after years of public disputes following their divorce in 2009. Princess noted that their parents are comfortable on camera due to growing up on reality television.

The series also touched upon the siblings' relationship with their elder half-brother, Harvey, who has Prader-Willi syndrome, autism, and septo-optic dysplasia. Princess mentioned that she and Junior spent time with Harvey while their mother was in Dubai.

"The Princess Diaries" airs on ITV, with episodes also available on ITVX.
