Jonathan Ross has revealed that his wife, screenwriter Jane Goldman, was the mastermind behind their son Harvey's recent wedding. The ceremony took place at London's Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, with the reception held at the historic Orangery.
Harvey, 32, and his partner Muna, a photographer and producer, exchanged vows more than a year after their engagement was announced. Ross, 65, and Goldman, 56, were among the guests, with their daughter Honey, 29, serving as a bridesmaid.
"It was a lovely day and everyone enjoyed it, it was a fun wedding and it more or less went hitch free and that was thanks mainly to your mother," Ross stated on his podcast, Reel Talk. Honey corroborated this, praising her mother's organizational skills, adding, "She ran that wedding with a firm but gentle fist."
While Honey expressed her enjoyment of the event, Ross humorously noted the less appealing aspects. "I don't love a wedding but I'm happy to go to immediate family wedding," he said. "I find weddings, it's nice to see people you care about happy but you got to get dressed up and stand around a lot, there was a lot of standing around."
Harvey and Muna were married on September 4. Guests shared glimpses of the celebration on Instagram. Muna wore a strapless white gown with a long veil, and her bridal party was dressed in varying shades of red and burgundy. The ceremony space was adorned with an arch of deep red and purple flowers and greenery, matching the color scheme of the bridal party's attire.
Ross first publicly confirmed his son's engagement in April 2025. The couple, who have been together since at least 2018, also discussed future plans for starting a family. Harvey has worked in the video games industry, contributing as a programmer to titles like The Bradwell Conspiracy, which also featured his father as a voice actor. Muna is a photographer and producer who shares her work under the name Fadu Photos.
The wedding followed Muna's hen do in Portugal, which Honey was involved in organizing. Speaking on Reel Talk about the planning, Honey joked about the stress of managing a bridal group chat, stating, "I wouldn't wish a bridal group chat on my worst enemy."
Harvey, the couple's only son, has largely remained out of the public eye, though he made a notable appearance with Muna and his parents at the opening gala for Death Note: The Musical in London shortly before the wedding.
