New York Giants coach John Harbaugh has a lighthearted take on running back Cam Skattebo's recent viral moment, where the player's backflip attempt at Fanatics Fest did not go as planned.
When asked about the incident on the "Bleav in Giants" podcast, Harbaugh humorously advised Skattebo to "at least stick it" if he is going to attempt such a maneuver. "Land the thing if you're going to do it," Harbaugh stated.
Skattebo is currently in his recovery and preparation phase following a dislocated ankle suffered in October 2025, an injury that sidelined him for the remainder of that season. Harbaugh expressed confidence in Skattebo's readiness for the upcoming training camp, noting his extensive training efforts. "Skat's going to be ready to go," Harbaugh said. "He's been working super hard. He's really been training like crazy. His mind is on camp. He's healthy. He's ready to roll, and I can't wait to see him at practice."
Skattebo, an Arizona State product, played in eight games last season, accumulating 410 rushing yards and five touchdowns, along with 24 receptions for 207 yards and two receiving touchdowns. His performance in the past season was impacted by the significant ankle injury sustained early on.
