Podcaster Joe Rogan has advised liberals relocating to Texas to refrain from attempting to turn the state blue, arguing that such a shift would disrupt a "delicate balance" that benefits everyone. Rogan, who previously left California due to its political climate, stated on Tuesday that the influx of individuals seeking to enact far-left policies risks ruining the state's unique political ecosystem.

Rogan described Austin as a progressive city within a predominantly conservative state, a dynamic he believes is advantageous. "The Austin balance is a great balance," he said. "It's a liberal city surrounded by, like, hardcore Republicans with guns and tigers."

He drew an analogy to an ecosystem, warning that altering this balance could have detrimental consequences, similar to unchecked predator or prey populations. "You're going to ruin it for you too. You don't get it. Balance is important," Rogan stated. He suggested that liberals moving from blue states often fail to recognize the value of the existing political equilibrium.

Rogan has previously expressed his dissatisfaction with the direction of California, citing the 2020 riots as a catalyst for his departure. He also criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom, warning that Los Angeles could face economic decline if companies continue to leave the state.

Recent data indicates that Texas continues to experience significant population growth and wealth migration, with its major metropolitan areas outpacing much of the nation. IRS migration data shows billions of dollars in taxpayer wealth flowing into Texas, and Census figures highlight cities like Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio among the country's fastest-growing metros.
