Kimmel recalled past promises from Trump, such as a $2,000 tariff dividend that was never delivered. The late-night host expressed that he, like many who did not vote for Trump, had anticipated a difficult presidency but found the reality to be even more challenging than expected.
During his monologue, Kimmel posed a question to his audience: “Has anyone ever done a worse job with anything?” The audience responded with a resounding, single word: “No!” Kimmel then drew a comparison, stating that the parents of Lyle and Erik Menendez, who were convicted of murdering their parents, had done a better job of parenting than Trump did running the country.
