Jimmy Kimmel's Audience Responds to Trump With a Single Word
The late-night host asked his audience if anyone had ever done a worse job than Donald Trump, and the crowd's answer was immediate and unified.

Jimmy Kimmel remarked on his show that former President Donald Trump continues to be surprising, though not in a positive way. Kimmel suggested that Trump is employing various tactics to attempt to influence the upcoming midterm elections, citing a hypothetical offer of $5,000 to every adult if Republicans win, which Kimmel characterized as a dubious and potentially self-serving proposal.
Kimmel recalled past promises from Trump, such as a $2,000 tariff dividend that was never delivered. The late-night host expressed that he, like many who did not vote for Trump, had anticipated a difficult presidency but found the reality to be even more challenging than expected.
During his monologue, Kimmel posed a question to his audience: “Has anyone ever done a worse job with anything?” The audience responded with a resounding, single word: “No!” Kimmel then drew a comparison, stating that the parents of Lyle and Erik Menendez, who were convicted of murdering their parents, had done a better job of parenting than Trump did running the country.
