Jennifer Lopez recently shared a rare glimpse of her twins, Max and Oskar Muñiz, during a road trip across Italy. The singer posted a carousel of photos on Instagram Monday, accompanied by the caption, “Road tripping with my coconuts before they head off to college 😭.”
The celebratory trip comes after Lopez's children, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, graduated from high school.
Lopez attended separate graduation ceremonies for her twins in June. In photos obtained by Page Six, she was seen wiping away tears while watching Max graduate. Her parents, Guadalupe Rodríguez and David Lopez, manager Benny Medina, and Oskar were also present for Max's ceremony. In May, the family attended Oskar's graduation, with Ben Affleck's son Samuel, who was 14 at the time, also in attendance.
Oskar is preparing to study theater and studio arts at Sarah Lawrence College. While Max's college plans have not been revealed, Lopez previously stated in an interview with Extra that both her children were accepted into all five colleges they applied to and received scholarships to each.
"I am so proud that they set goals for themselves," Lopez told the outlet in June. "They all got into all five colleges that they applied to. They both got a scholarship to each, you know, one scholarship to each. Each one got a scholarship to a school. And I just felt like they work so hard."
Back in May, Lopez became emotional when discussing the prospect of becoming an empty nester. "Don’t talk about it because I start crying," she said during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”. "I’ve been crying for two months."
During their Italy trip, the trio was photographed enjoying meals and sightseeing at various museums. One stop included a visit to the Colosseum in Rome. Lopez was seen in a series of stylish dresses, while her teenage children opted for more casual attire.
