Jennifer Lopez has shared a defiant message on social media, vowing to "keep going" as friends voice concerns about her potential for burnout due to her demanding workload. The singer and actress, 57, posted a video to her Instagram Stories on Friday morning, riding in a chauffeured car with an inspirational audio track. "Be the person people look at and say, 'How the f** is this mother-f***er still going?' That's all you need to know if you do that for life," a voiceover stated.

The message comes as sources report that Lopez is facing a relentless schedule. She recently secured a new $20 million deal with Dolce & Gabbana, which is expected to increase her workload. Lopez is also planning a major international tour for the upcoming year and is engaged in extensive promotional activities for her recent films, including "The Last Mrs Parrish" and "Ice Age: Boiling Point." Additionally, a filmed version of her Las Vegas residency, "The JLo Show," is set to stream on Paramount+.

An insider told the Daily Mail that while Lopez is working tirelessly to stay busy, there are concerns she might burn out. "But this it is how she stays sane during this weird time in her life," the source added.

Lopez has been navigating significant personal changes, including the finalization of her divorce from Ben Affleck in January 2025. She is also facing the impending departure of her 18-year-old twins, Max and Oskar, for college, a prospect that brings the "empty nest" anxiety.

"It's not an easy time for Jennifer, there are a lot of changes, it's very emotional, but she finds comfort in working nonstop, which is great because her career is still doing very well," the insider explained. "She just works, works, works! She likes to be a workaholic, she is incredibly driven, a typical Type-A Leo who wants to never be out of the spotlight."

The source continued, "For her, working is better than staying at home eating takeout from Nobu alone in front of the TV. She would rather wake up at 5am and put in a 14-hour day and never complain. But one day she may wake up completely exhausted."

This sentiment echoes a past experience for Lopez, who, over two decades ago, worked 98 consecutive days without a break. During an appearance on the SmartLess podcast in June, she recalled the intense period around the release of her second album, "J-Lo." She described filming movies daily, then going to the studio at night, and working through weekends with promotional events and video shoots.

The breaking point occurred while she was filming the 2002 action-thriller "Enough." Lopez recounted feeling a growing "pitter patter in my heart" each time she walked to the set, which eventually led to a moment of physical shutdown. "I went back to the trailer, and I sat down, and all of a sudden I just couldn't see. I couldn't see clearly, something went over my eyes, and I couldn't move," she said. Her security guard rushed her to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with exhaustion, telling her she had "shut down."
