Jennifer Lopez was observed asking a group of persistent paparazzi to cease their aggressive pursuit of photographs in Paris. The 57-year-old entertainer was in the French capital for Fashion Week, having attended shows for brands such as Stella McCartney.
As Lopez navigated the city, she encountered photographers whose intensity she found bothersome. In a video, she is heard addressing them, stating, "Guys, can you stop acting crazy? Relax. Nobody's running anywhere. We're not doing anything." When one photographer attributed their behavior to "the heat," Lopez responded that they could "take your picture" but reiterated her request to "relax."
A representative for Lopez did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Lopez was seen in a full-length off-white lace dress, complemented by a black leather Lady Dior bag. She accessorized with large black-rimmed orange sunglasses and a subtle necklace. Her ensemble was completed with white socks and black loafers.
During Paris Fashion Week, Lopez also attended a Stella McCartney show, where she was seen wearing a fur coat.
Earlier, she had attended an event in Milan for Vogue World and Dolce & Gabbana, a brand for which she recently signed a reported $20 million deal to be its face.
This period of extensive travel and public appearances follows reports that loved ones are concerned about Lopez potentially experiencing burnout due to overwork. This concern reportedly stems from a nervous breakdown she experienced in 2002.
Lopez is rumored to be planning a new tour, alongside promotional activities for two upcoming films: a crime thriller directed by Robert Zemeckis titled The Last Mrs Parrish, and a concert film documenting her recent Las Vegas residency. Her previously announced "This Is Me…Live" tour was canceled in the summer of 2024.
In August, Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck. The tour had been intended to support her album This Is Me...Now, which was inspired by her relationship with Affleck. The album served as a follow-up to her 2002 album This Is Me...Then, released during her initial relationship with Affleck.
Lopez's current professional commitments come after becoming an empty nester. Her 18-year-old twins, Max and Emme, whom she had with ex-husband Marc Anthony, recently graduated high school and have gone to college. Emme's high school graduation also coincided with the public acknowledgment of her transgender identity, having previously been known as Max.
