Jennifer Garner and her boyfriend, businessman John Miller, were photographed hiking with their dogs in Los Angeles' Brentwood neighborhood on Sunday, marking a rare public appearance for the couple. Garner, 54, wore a gray t-shirt with a "Hug a Farmer" logo, dark leggings, a blue baseball cap, and sunglasses. Miller also opted for a casual outfit, wearing a gray t-shirt and jeans.
The couple, who have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight since reuniting in 2021, were seen with one dog each. This outing follows another rare sighting earlier in August, when they were photographed on a dinner date in Santa Monica. Prior to that dinner date, the pair had not been publicly seen together for over a year.
Garner was first linked to Miller, the CEO of CaliGroup, in 2018, shortly after her divorce from actor Ben Affleck was finalized. Garner and Affleck were married for 10 years and share three children: Violet, 20; Fin, 17; and Samuel, 14. Garner and Miller reportedly experienced a brief split in 2020 before reconciling the following year.
Rumors that Miller had moved in with Garner surfaced in May 2025, with a source telling Us Weekly that he was splitting his time between his Los Angeles office and Garner's home. The wildfires in Southern California in January 2025 had reportedly prompted him to move out of his own Los Angeles residence.
In mid-March 2025, the couple was observed holding hands and kissing during a date night at the Brentwood Country Mart, described by an eyewitness as a "very normal couple." The source noted their apparent happiness and ease with each other, stating they "looked happy and at ease, like a married couple that is thriving."
