Celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin anticipates a trend of "beautiful, glossy hair" gracing red carpets and everyday styles this fall. Atkin, the founder of Ouai and Mane, told Page Six Style that shine will be the common denominator, paired with individual personality.
Atkin's own brand, Ouai, has seen significant success with its Hair Oil, reportedly used by celebrities such as Hailey Bieber. The product is described as an easy finishing step to add shine and smoothness, contributing to a more polished look. Last month alone, thousands of bottles were sold.
However, Atkin emphasized that achieving glossy hair starts with prioritizing hair health, which she identifies as the biggest mistake people make. She advocates for a consistent hair care schedule, drawing a parallel to regular skincare or Botox appointments. "I think all starts in the shower," she said, stressing the importance of choosing the right washing and prepping products.
