Jefferson White to Reprise Jimmy Hurdstrom Role in 'Yellowstone' Spin-off '6666'

Jefferson White, known for his role as Jimmy Hurdstrom in the hit series 'Yellowstone,' is set to reprise his character in the second season of the CBS spin-off, '6666.' The announcement was made during a CBS virtual press day on September 16.

Jimmy Hurdstrom will be leaving the 6666 ranch in Texas and returning to Montana to reunite with Kayce Dutton, portrayed by Luke Grimes. While details of White's recurring role remain under wraps, CBS confirmed that Jimmy will be depicted as the same "good-hearted yet rough-around-the-edges ranch hand who evolved from a troubled criminal into a resilient, proud cowboy."

White expressed his enthusiasm for the role, stating, "I’m thrilled to dive into the world of '6666' and continue exploring the American West. The cast and crew are stacked full of my favorite actors and filmmakers, and I’m honored to join them. Jimmy and I have been through a lot together, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for us."

Season 2 of '6666' is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, October 4, 2026, on CBS, with streaming available on Paramount+. The first episode of the new season, titled "All Hat No Cattle," will follow Kayce's desperate attempt to rescue his son Tate, who has been taken hostage. The synopsis also hints at the Marshals uncovering a criminal operation linked to the East Camp land grab, leading to a potentially dangerous confrontation.

The series will air in its usual Sunday 8:00 p.m. ET/PT time slot starting October 11, but the season premiere on October 4 will air at 8:30 p.m. ET due to an NBC doubleheader.
