Jason Kelce revealed he consumed more than 15 beers at his brother Travis Kelce's recent wedding to singer Taylor Swift. The celebration took place on July 3 at Madison Square Garden.
Kelce, a retired NFL player, made the remarks on Thursday while attending the American Century Championship in Nevada. A video obtained by The Post shows him telling a fan, "It was a good time." When asked about the number of beers he consumed, Kelce stated it was "way over" 15.
The wedding ceremony saw an estimated 1,000 guests in attendance, including notable figures such as Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, and Benny Blanco. Jason Kelce served as Travis Kelce's best man, while Taylor Swift appointed her brother, Austin Swift, as her man of honor.
Adam Sandler, who is a co-star of Travis Kelce in "Happy Gilmore 2," officiated the ceremony. Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid shared that Sandler advised the newlyweds to "kiss every chance [they] get."
Reports indicate that both Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift read 20-minute vows during the ceremony. A source told People that Travis Kelce became emotional when Swift spoke about his high school experiences, recalling how he would sit with less popular students at lunch. Swift reportedly expressed a wish that she had known someone like him in high school.
Jason Kelce reportedly promised Swift that he would "protect her forever."
Following the ceremony, guests were directed to a room featuring multiple full-service bars. Attendees were also reportedly encouraged to participate in games like miniature golf and skee-ball, with opportunities to win designer bags and Cartier watches. Guests were required to sign non-disclosure agreements prior to the event.
