Jamie Laing, known for his role on Made in Chelsea, recently took to Instagram to share a touching tribute to his wife, Sophie Habboo. The post, a montage of video clips, celebrated Habboo's role as a mother to their eight-month-old son, Ziggy, and lauded her as his "best friend" and life partner. Laing expressed gratitude for their relationship, stating in a voiceover that he felt he had "nailed it" in choosing his spouse.
The montage featured clips of Habboo caring for baby Ziggy, alongside personal moments of the couple together and professional appearances on red carpets. It also included text overlays with the messages "marry your best friend" and "true story."
This public display of affection comes shortly after Habboo announced her departure from the podcast "Wednesdays," which she co-hosted with Melissa Tattam since 2021. In an emotional announcement on the podcast's latest episode, Habboo explained her decision to step down to "prioritize" spending more time with her son. She expressed a desire to balance her opportunities with being the best mother she can be.
Habboo stated that while she would miss the podcast, her co-host Melissa Tattam would continue, now joined full-time by their friend Ruby Adler. Habboo mentioned she would still be a guest on the show occasionally.
In addition to the "Wednesdays" podcast, Laing and Habboo also co-host the "Newly Parents" podcast. The couple recently collaborated on a summer campaign for GetYourGuide, which involved a trip to Paris that included a vintage car tour and a pastry-making class.
