Jackie 'O' Henderson was observed attending a performance by the indie-pop group Pamela's at The Lansdowne Hotel in Sydney on Thursday evening. Henderson, 51, appeared in good spirits, sporting a red T-shirt featuring the band's name to show support for founding members Sarah Ellen and Josh Kempen.
She was accompanied by friend Pip Edwards, who shared photographs of the outing on Instagram. In one image, Henderson is seen backstage laughing with Ellen, a former star of the soap opera "Neighbours." The group concluded their evening in Sydney's Potts Point, where Henderson and friends were photographed enjoying drinks on the street.
Henderson's public appearance comes as speculation continues within the media industry regarding her future professional endeavors. She has been off-air and is involved in ongoing legal proceedings. According to industry sources cited by the Daily Mail, Henderson is currently prioritizing family and personal well-being over immediate career planning.
An insider indicated that Henderson's focus has shifted, stating, "People assume Jackie is constantly thinking about what comes next professionally, but that's not where her head is at." She is reportedly spending time with her daughter, Kitty, as she approaches her final years of high school, and is making decisions that contribute to her happiness and well-being.
Henderson and former co-host Kyle Sandilands reportedly have not been in contact since a dispute over astrology occurred on air in February. Their show, "The Kyle & Jackie O Show," was subsequently canceled, and both hosts departed from their previous employer, ARN. Sandilands reached a settlement in his legal dispute with ARN, receiving a portion of his initial claim. Henderson's legal action against ARN, initiated after the conclusion of her radio contract in March, is scheduled for a court hearing in October.
