Jack Antonoff, a prominent figure in the music industry known for his work with Taylor Swift and other major artists, responded evasively when questioned about his marriage to actress Margaret Qualley. The exchange occurred on May 22 during an appearance on the TODAY show, shortly after reports emerged suggesting the couple is experiencing marital difficulties.

When asked about his favorite moment from his August 2023 wedding, Antonoff, 42, stammered, "Oh that would be impossible to think of," before abruptly requesting, "next question!" He also avoided a follow-up question regarding wedding etiquette, offering only a vague suggestion about ensuring "there's enough drinks...just tons of alcohol everywhere."

Antonoff, who is still wearing his wedding ring, has not been publicly photographed with Qualley, 31, since the Grammy Awards on February 1. Qualley recently removed photos from their wedding day, which took place at Beach Haven in New Jersey, from her Instagram account. She also reverted her Instagram handle, which had previously referenced Antonoff's song "Isimo," back to include her legal name, Sarah Margaret Qualley.

Reports from Wednesday indicated that the couple is "figuring things out" and that their marriage has been "rocky from the start." An insider attributed their struggles to frequent arguments and the challenges of balancing their demanding careers, with Antonoff often on tour or working late in the studio. Another source suggested that "many factors" contributed to the alleged split, including claims that Antonoff had been "difficult to live with."

Mention of the couple's relationship comes amid Antonoff's busy professional schedule. His band, Bleachers, recently stopped performing Lana Del Rey's ballad "Margaret," a song Antonoff wrote about Qualley. Furthermore, Antonoff attended recent wedding festivities for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce accompanied by his sister, Rachel, instead of Qualley.

Qualley is currently involved in several film projects. She is set to appear in Ridley Scott's sci-fi film "The Dog Stars," scheduled for release on August 28, and is also reportedly shooting a role in a remake of the horror film "Possession." Antonoff is continuing his band's tour through December and is scheduled to headline his own Shadow of the City Festival on August 28 in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
