Ivanka Trump recently took to the waves for a surfing lesson during a family vacation in Costa Rica. Photos from the getaway show the former White House aide, 44, dressed in a white long-sleeved rash guard and black bikini bottoms, navigating the ocean on a green surfboard.
Trump stood on the board, riding some waves, while in other shots she was seen in knee-deep water, awaiting the next set.
This is not the first time Trump has been seen surfing in Costa Rica. In April 2025, she shared her enjoyment of a family trip to the Central American country, noting the experience of surfing under golden skies. "Grateful doesn’t begin to cover it. Spending Passover and Easter week surrounded by the raw beauty of Costa Rica was a gift beyond words," she wrote on X at the time. She also mentioned other activities like jungle zip-lining and visiting waterfalls.
Earlier in the summer, Trump shared an Instagram post featuring a collection of photos from various family moments and trips. These images included her husband, Jared Kushner, their sons Theodore and Joseph, and activities such as golf and archery. She captioned the post "Summer Snaps."
During her father Donald Trump's presidency, Ivanka Trump served as a senior advisor for all four years. In a January 2025 podcast appearance, she spoke about the challenges of the presidency and expressed a desire to support her father in a personal capacity during a potential second term, stating she was happy to be able to "show up for him as a daughter and be there for him...in a very loving way as his daughter."
