Irish Independent TD Michael Healy-Rae was the victim of an attack on a Dublin street, according to reports.
Healy-Rae was driving his car, branded with "Healy-Rae" on the side, from Leinster House towards Kerry when the incident occurred. Details indicate that a man randomly attacked his vehicle.
Following the attack, gardaí (Irish police) responded to the scene. They escorted Healy-Rae to Kevin Street Garda Station. Subsequently, an ambulance transported him to St. Vincent's Hospital for medical treatment.
His brother and fellow Kerry Independent TD, Danny Healy-Rae, commented on the incident in the Dáil, stating, "It’s not good enough – I hope he’ll be alright."
