Iranian state media has broadcast a video that appears to fantasize about the killing of Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Donald Trump. The three-minute clip, titled “Where to kill Barron Trump,” reportedly shows the movements of Trump's son and claims he is “fully monitored.”
The video also purports to show depictions of the dorms at New York University’s Constance Milstein & Family Global Academic Center, according to translations of the footage. In addition to the video, multiple reports suggest that Iran has placed a $10 million bounty on Barron Trump's head, with a voiceover claiming that "many would be willing" to assassinate him. The authenticity of the alleged bounty and the claims about Trump's movements could not be independently verified.
The video was distributed through media channels linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a branch of Iran's military, according to the Middle East news outlet Al Bawaba. This follows a similar video released in July by Tasnim News Agency, also linked to the IRGC, titled “Where to Kill Melania?” which similarly claimed to know the location of former First Lady Melania Trump.
These broadcasts come as the Trump administration has intensified its pressure campaign on Iran. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent recently unveiled a plan described as an "economic D-Day" aimed at severely impacting Iran's already struggling economy, which has been battered by high inflation and economic sanctions.
