Social media influencer Amelia Liana, who recently revealed to her 596,000 Instagram followers that she had married in secret, has been identified as Amelia Sopher, the daughter of Richard Sopher, CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Capital Holdings. Her husband has been identified as Michael Lewkowicz, an Austrian venture capitalist.

Liana, who previously maintained an online persona of being single in her thirties, shared details of her wedding in a YouTube video titled ‘I GOT MARRIED!!!!’. The ceremony took place at Spencer House in Westminster, a venue that can cost up to £15,000 to hire. For the occasion, Liana wore a gown and cathedral-length veil by the British couture brand Sabina Bilenko. She prepared for the ceremony at the five-star Dorchester Hotel and held her reception at Claridge’s in Mayfair.

Amelia Liana, 34, had been posting about her single life and travels as recently as late March. She had previously vowed to keep details about her romantic life private following a previous engagement that ended in 2018 after six months. Her former fiancé was identified as British entrepreneur Robert Espir. According to reports, that relationship ended due to concerns raised by those within their circles about Liana's focus on wedding content over the relationship itself. Liana described the breakdown of that engagement as 'traumatic' and resulting in 'post-traumatic stress disorder'.

Michael Lewkowicz, also known as Micky, has a career in venture capital. He is the co-founder and CEO of the sushi restaurant firm Yami Foods and serves as an investor and board observer at Playermaker, an AI tool for footballers. Until 2023, he owned the investment firm ML Delta GmbH, which focused on technology and real estate. Previously, he worked at Reimagine Ventures, an international venture capital firm. Lewkowicz studied economics at the University of Pennsylvania and began his career as an analyst at Eurohypo bank.

Liana's background also includes significant wealth. She is known for her collection of designer clothing and accessories, including Hermes Birkin bags, and frequent posts from international trips. Her father, Richard Sopher, is a philanthropist and chairs several educational charities in the UK. Amelia Sopher lives in a £2.5 million townhouse in Notting Hill, which she purchased in 2021 and subsequently renovated. Her husband's business ventures include investments in medical device firm Microbot Medical, supplement firm NOVOS, and software company Syte.

Her decision to keep her marriage private has drawn mixed reactions from her followers. Some have expressed feelings of betrayal, noting her recent posts about being single. Liana has stated she did not intend to mislead her followers and admitted to editing videos to remove signs of her relationship, such as her wedding ring.
