The gunman who fatally shot three people and injured seven others at an In-N-Out drive-thru in Twin Falls, Idaho, on Saturday has been identified as 24-year-old Chad Williams. Williams died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after opening fire at the restaurant around 2 p.m. Saturday, Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks said. He acted alone in the attack.

Seven others were injured in the rampage. Two were released from the hospital, three were in stable condition, and two remained in critical condition. Among the deceased was a restaurant employee, according to In-N-Out President Lynsi Snyder, who expressed her grief in a statement Sunday.

"We lost one of our beautiful Associates tonight," Snyder said. "She was taking care of our most important asset - our Customers, and her life was taken by a disgusting human who doesn't value the lives of others or his own."

Terry Dudley, who works for North Star Taxi, is the only victim identified so far. He was shot twice in the back while charging his Tesla, according to a GoFundMe page. His employer stated that he has a "very long road ahead of him" and the company would be closed for a few days.

An armed citizen and an off-duty state trooper fired back at Williams during the incident, which police believe may have helped prevent further casualties. The identities of these individuals have not been released.
