Authorities are investigating the death of Brooke Hanlon, a 35-year-old psychotherapist and new mother found stabbed in her Chester Township, New Jersey, home on June 6. The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office has not identified any suspects or made arrests one month after the incident.

Brooke Hanlon was discovered following a 911 call, and an examination by the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office determined her death was caused by multiple sharp force injuries, ruling it a homicide. Investigators have not disclosed who made the 911 call or whether her husband, James "Conor" Hanlon, and their infant child were present at the time of the discovery.

Conor Hanlon, 36, has not been seen or heard from in weeks, according to the victim's sister, Paige Haggerty, and a neighbor. The neighbor told Fox News Digital that he last communicated with Conor Hanlon via text around June 2, discussing a bear in the area. The neighbor stated he texted Conor again on June 6, inquiring about the police activity at their home, but received no response.

Haggerty has remained tight-lipped about her brother-in-law, emphasizing the need to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation. Court records indicate Conor Hanlon has no prior arrests or criminal history and has not been accused of any wrongdoing.

The couple's baby is currently staying with family, though further details were not immediately available. Authorities have not released information regarding any persons of interest in the case. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to a resolution of the case.
