Actor Hugh Grant and his wife, Anna Eberstein, attended Taylor Swift's wedding in New York City on Friday night and then traveled to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on Sunday morning. The couple was seen walking the paddock at the Silverstone circuit, less than 48 hours after departing Swift's event at Madison Square Garden.

Grant, 65, and Eberstein, 43, were among the guests at Swift's wedding, which drew some surprise from social media users who questioned the guest list. However, Grant and Swift have been friends for two years. Their connection began after Grant brought Eberstein and one of their daughters to Swift's Eras Tour stop in London in June 2024.

Following that concert, Grant posted on X (formerly Twitter) praising Swift's show and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, whom he referred to as an "excellent if gigantic boyfriend." The post went viral, and Swift responded, calling herself a "long time Hugh Grant stan."

Later, Swift recounted an anecdote on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" about Kelce mistaking Eberstein for director Greta Gerwig at a VIP tent during the Eras Tour. Swift explained that Kelce, after having drinks, was discussing his interactions with guests, including Grant. Kelce mentioned telling Grant he loved his movies and then, believing he was talking to Gerwig, made a "Barbie" movie reference. Swift realized Kelce had actually been speaking with Eberstein, Grant's wife, and that the individuals Kelce described as looking like "soulmates" were Grant and Eberstein.

Grant and Eberstein were seen in VIP hospitality at the British Grand Prix, with Eberstein wearing a blue gingham dress and Grant in a beige blazer. Grant appeared to be managing any signs of jet lag behind sunglasses.
