Holly Willoughby shared a kiss with her husband, Dan Baldwin, in a rare public display of affection shared on Instagram just hours before the National Television Awards ceremony. In a "Get Ready with Me" clip, Willoughby, 45, was seen in a white dressing gown as her hair and makeup were done. Her husband, 51, entered the room and kissed her on the cheek before departing.
Willoughby, a TV presenter and YouTube star, later appeared at the ceremony in a strapless black dress. She and her TV producer husband, who have three children, have largely kept their 19-year marriage out of the public eye.
Elsewhere at the event, Olivia Attwood and Pete Wicks made their red carpet debut as a couple, sharing a kiss in front of photographers. Wicks was co-hosting the red carpet coverage with Sam Thompson when Attwood appeared. After greeting Thompson, Attwood kissed Wicks.
The moment was shared on the official NTAs Instagram with the caption "Red carpet chemistry!". Attwood later commented on the post, calling the moment "awkward."
Fans reacted positively to seeing the couple together, with comments expressing happiness for them. Thompson, who was present during the kiss, was described as an "awkward third wheel."
Later, Attwood and Wicks reunited on stage to present the award for best Daytime show. Host Joel Dommett joked about their relationship.
Earlier in the week, Attwood had shared a series of photos on Instagram from a date with Wicks. In one image, she was leaning over Wicks' knees, and in another, he had his arms around her. Attwood captioned the post, "Went on a date with Pete Wicks from Towie can’t believe it he’s so hot in real life too xxxx."
The couple first met in 2017 and became friends, with their romance developing this year after the breakdown of Attwood's marriage to Bradley Dack. Attwood confirmed their relationship in a series of Instagram posts, joking that fans had "bullied me into hard launching."
Attwood has spoken about navigating how much to share about their relationship with the public. She stated she has an "open dialogue with my audience" but is working to maintain some privacy. Attwood, known for her candid nature, mentioned that coming from a reality television background sometimes makes her feel a "guilt complex" when she doesn't share everything, but she is learning to manage the pressure she puts on herself to share more than necessary.
