Helena Christensen, 57, was seen embracing the 1990s bandana trend during a dog walk in New York City on Tuesday. The Danish supermodel paired the fashion accessory with a gingham mini-dress and strappy sandals.
Christensen's dress, a black and white design from the high street brand Mango, was priced at approximately $48. She appeared makeup-free during her outing in the city.
Christensen's modeling career began after she won Miss Universe Denmark in 1986. She gained widespread recognition for her appearance in Chris Isaak's music video for "Wicked Game" and later became one of the original Victoria's Secret Angels.
In her personal life, Christensen was previously in a relationship with INXS frontman Michael Hutchence in the early 1990s. She later dated actor Norman Reedus, with whom she has a son, Mingus Lucien Reedus, born in 1999. The couple separated in 2003 but have maintained a co-parenting relationship. Christensen also dated singer Paul Banks for seven years.
Earlier this year, Christensen shared a Mother's Day moment with her son. In August of the previous year, Mingus Reedus was arrested and charged with assault and harassment.
