Nigel Farage has announced Helen Jenner as the new leader of Reform UK in Wales. Jenner, who previously served as the party's Welsh deputy leader and is a Senedd member representing Bangor Conwy Mon, takes over from Dan Thomas. Thomas stepped down last week following his arrest on suspicion of assault and of controlling or coercive behaviour.

Farage announced Jenner's appointment on Monday from the steps of the Senedd in Cardiff. "I've known Helen for many, many years. She is a determined campaigner," Farage stated. He expressed regret for the former leader's "personal difficulties," but noted that it had become untenable for Thomas to continue in the role.

Jenner stated that it was an honor to be elected as the leader of Reform Wales.
