Heidi Montag is pursuing her pop music aspirations while her husband, Spencer Pratt, transitions into political commentary following his unsuccessful bid for Los Angeles mayor.
Montag, 39, performed at the Neon Skies music festival in Canada recently, appearing alongside artists such as Kesha and Slayyyter. She donned a high-cut, hot pink leotard for her set, which featured viral hits like "I'll Do It," "Fashion," and "Prototype." The ensemble included a chest cut-out and a G-string back.
Following the performance, Montag shared her excitement on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the audience's support and calling it an honor to share the stage with Slayyyter. She noted that "dreams come true" with the experience.
Montag recently released her third studio album, "Masterpiece," which follows her 2023 release, "Heidiwood." The album has drawn attention for its explicit lyrics, with songs like "Summer Love," "Splash," and "Masterpiece" containing suggestive content. The title track includes lines referencing positions and roles, while "Pretty" features more provocative imagery.
The album's cover art also features Montag in a sheer mesh dress. She had begun teasing the album in January on her podcast, "The Fame Game," describing "Masterpiece" as a bridge between her first album, "Superficial," and "Heidiwood," with a more mainstream sound than "Heidiwood's" hyper-pop style.
Montag's earlier music experienced a surge in streams last year after the couple lost their Pacific Palisades home in a January 2025 wildfire. Fans rallied by purchasing and streaming her 2010 debut album, "Superficial," and its lead single, "I'll Do It," both of which reached No. 1 on iTunes in the U.S. Her sophomore album, "Heidiwood," also charted in the top ten on iTunes.
Meanwhile, Spencer Pratt, 42, has shifted his focus to political influence after his mayoral race loss. He is now engaged in commentary concerning corruption and communism in California.
