Heather Dubrow, a star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," has refuted claims made by castmate Vicki Gunvalson that she and her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, inherited their wealth. Gunvalson suggested that the Dubrows’ fortune came from an inheritance following the 2007 death of Terry Dubrow’s brother, Kevin Dubrow, the frontman of the band Quiet Riot. Gunvalson also questioned if Heather Dubrow’s acting career or the couple's high-value real estate holdings, including a mansion once valued at $40 million, were sources of their income.

Dubrow, 57, directly addressed Gunvalson’s assertions in an interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea.” "It’s just not true," Dubrow stated. She acknowledged confronting Gunvalson about the issue during the "RHOC" Season 20 premiere, but noted that Gunvalson appeared to stand by her claims in her confessional interviews.

Dubrow attributed their financial success to "great careers" for both herself and her husband, a plastic surgeon who also appears on the E! series “Botched.” She emphasized their successful business ventures and shrewd investments, stating, "So, am I supposed to apologize that we are smarter and maybe more clever with our investments and money? I’m not sorry."

The couple has a history of significant real estate transactions. In 2022, they sold their Newport Beach home, known as Chateau Dubrow, for $55 million. They also sold a Beverly Hills mansion for $16.5 million in 2025 after an initial listing price of $25 million.

Regarding the specific claim of inheriting money from Kevin Dubrow, Heather Dubrow expressed dismissiveness, saying, "I laugh, I roll my eyes. I don’t care. Think whatever you want." However, she noted that her husband was particularly angered by the accusation.

Terry Dubrow also spoke out, calling Gunvalson’s comments “insensitive” and “mean.” During an event in Manhattan, he directly challenged Gunvalson, stating, "If you want to say that, fine. Say it. But bet me. Until you want to bet me $100,000 that I didn’t inherit a dime from my brother, shut up, Vicki. Leave it alone. You’re just wrong."

Despite the public dispute, Heather Dubrow indicated that she is not ready to end her friendship with Gunvalson. She described their relationship as one where they "really enjoy each other" when together, but noted that Gunvalson often presents different narratives publicly. "The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, with new episodes available on Peacock the following day.
