Harlan Coben, a renowned author of mystery and thriller novels, has secured a significant footprint on Netflix, with 13 of his works adapted into television series. The streaming giant first established a deal with Coben in 2018, renewing it in 2022, making Netflix the primary platform for his television adaptations. The streamer even offers "The Harlan Coben Collection" to streamline the viewing experience for fans.

Among the most recent offerings is "I Will Find You," adapted from Coben's 2023 novel of the same name. Starring Sam Worthington and Britt Lower, the series dives into the intricate twists and turns characteristic of Coben's storytelling. Worthington noted the challenge and excitement of finding authenticity within the narrative, while Lower highlighted how elements not present on the page came to life during filming. The series has maintained a strong presence on Netflix's Top 10 charts since its release, bolstered by a cast that includes Milo Ventimiglia, Logan Browning, and Chi McBride.

Another adaptation, "Run Away," premiered on New Year's Day. Headlined by James Nesbitt and Minnie Driver, the series centers on parents whose eldest daughter, Paige, has run away. According to critic Joel Keller, the show is a solid Coben thriller, offering good performances, humor, and numerous plot twists.

"Just One Look," based on Coben's 2004 novel, is a Polish series adaptation. It follows Greta Rembiewska, a jewelry designer whose life is upended by a discovered photograph. This series, like many of Coben's thrillers on Netflix, features a dense plot with ample twists, with its total runtime around four hours.

Further adding to the author's Netflix catalog is a 2025 series adapted from Coben's 2014 novel. This "pulse-pounding" thriller stars Rosalind Eleazar as Detective Kat Donovan, whose fiancé mysteriously vanishes. Years later, his reappearance triggers a cascade of new questions.

"Fool Me Once," adapted from Coben's 2016 novel, explores the grief of Maya Stern, played by Michelle Keegan, who loses her husband. Her mourning process takes an unexpected turn when she spots him on her home's nanny cam footage. While the series has potential for intriguing plot twists and solid performances, some dialogue and plot points have been noted as complicating the narrative unnecessarily.

"Stay Close," based on Coben's 2012 novel, centers on four individuals whose pasts intersect and disrupt their present lives. Starring Cush Jumbo, the series benefits from strong performances and a narrative that provides enough initial clues to keep viewers engaged without becoming overly obscure.

Rounding out the list is the 2021 Spanish adaptation of Coben's 2005 novel, starring Mario Casas as Mateo. The series revisits a life-altering choice Mateo made nine years prior. The adaptation has been tentatively recommended for its good performances and its writers' avoidance of genre tropes.
