Heavy thunderstorms did not deter celebrity-filled Fourth of July celebrations in the Hamptons, with multiple exclusive parties drawing a constellation of stars across the Long Island enclave.
One of the notable events was Richie Akiva and Jeremey Tahari’s annual “The Afters” party in Sagaponack. Approximately 1,000 guests, including hundreds of uninvited attendees, reportedly flocked to the celebration, with some guests described as “sneaking into the event through the surrounding woods.” Among the attendees was heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, who celebrated his 60th birthday with a cake and a serenade from partygoers.
Other notable guests at “The Afters” included Tobey Maguire, Travis Scott, Cuba Gooding Jr., Laura Harrier, Alabama Barker, Jordyn Woods, and Justine Skye. According to an attendee, singers Tate McRae and Alix Earle were seen dancing on a banquet for hours, creating an atmosphere described as a “classy outdoor rave.” The event, co-hosted by fashion designer Elie Tahari’s son, Jeremey Tahari, also featured a large fireworks display around 11 p.m. as DJ Vanjee performed. The party was sponsored by New York City casino Resort World and cannabis distributor Boukét and served as an unofficial after-party for Michael Rubin’s White Party.
Meanwhile, Nylon magazine hosted a three-day residency at the Surf Lodge in Montauk, featuring a performance by Snoop Dogg. The audience included Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi, influencer Alix Earle, “Scream Queens” star Emma Roberts, Bethenny Frankel, and Ava Dash. Earle was also seen at this event with Anastasia Karanikolaou. The residency, in partnership with Starbucks Coffee Company, also featured performances by Murda Beatz, Hugel, and Carlita.
Tao Group’s Crane Club held its annual members-only Fourth of July BBQ at a private estate in Sagaponack. Chef Melissa Rodriguez provided a raw bar with caviar and classic barbecue fare. Leonardo DiCaprio, Sofia Vergara, Kyle Cooke, and Karl-Anthony Towns were among the VIP guests. Bentley reportedly provided luxury vehicles for transportation to the event.
In Southampton, socialite Sheila Rosenblum hosted a gathering at her estate, attended by figures such as former Douglas Elliman President and CEO Dottie Herman, former New York Assemblyman Jerry Kremer, and former Modell’s Sporting Goods CEO Mitchell Modell. Guests enjoyed a fireworks display before a storm forced the festivities indoors.
Singer Tate McRae was also reportedly seen at Nylon’s event before attending what was described as a wedding in the city and then returning to the Hamptons.
