Gladiators star Hammer, whose real name is Tom Wilson, has married his fiancée Chelsea Atkin in a wedding ceremony held in Marbella, Spain. Wilson shared images from the event on Instagram on Friday, marking the occasion with friends and family.
The couple, who became engaged in May 2023, exchanged vows surrounded by loved ones. Wilson, a British rowing champion and personal trainer, joined the BBC show Gladiators in 2025. He expressed his joy on social media, writing, "Mr and Mrs Wilson ❤️ Yesterday I got married to the love of my life We had the best day surrounded by our favourite people. The most perfect day ever ❤️❤️".
The bride wore a strapless white gown and veil, while Wilson donned a white suit jacket and bow tie. Fellow Gladiators cast members, including Tom Stoltman (The Albatross), Jamie Bigg (The Giant), and Matt Morsia (Legend), were in attendance and shared their well wishes.
Bigg described the wedding as an "unbelievably wholesome experience" and an "absolute honour" to witness. Morsia humorously recalled the event as "an absolute mad one. What a time to be alive."
Wilson had previously mentioned to The Sun that he planned to bring his lucky pair of Nike shorts to the wedding, humorously noting that while he wouldn't wear them down the aisle, they had "never done me wrong."
The article also noted recent casting changes for Gladiators, with Bionic and Athena reportedly not returning for the fourth series due to injuries. Four new cast members are set to join, including Olympic skeleton racer Tabby Stoecker and fitness influencer Florence Wong, who will adopt the alter-ego of Huntress. World's Strongest Man champion Tom Stoltman is also slated to join the show. Rugby star Joe Marler is rumored to be considered for a Celebrity Gladiator role, with sources suggesting his athleticism and personality make him a suitable fit.
