Georgia Toffolo, a personality from the reality series 'Made In Chelsea,' has shared her eight-month struggle to conceive a child with her husband, James Watt. In a candid video posted to Instagram, Toffolo expressed her fears that stress and anxiety may be contributing to their fertility challenges.

Toffolo, 31, stated that she initially believed pregnancy would be straightforward due to her and Watt's healthy lifestyles, describing themselves as "high achievers when it comes to their health." However, she acknowledged this assumption was incorrect. "A baby is never a given. It’s a total blessing," she wrote in her post, thanking followers for their supportive messages.

She elaborated on the emotional toll, admitting to carrying "so much shame and embarrassment" about their journey. Toffolo shared that she wonders if her stress and anxiety levels are playing a part in their difficulties, though she is uncertain. "I just don't know," she stated.

Last month, Toffolo revealed that she and Watt had taken a weekend trip to de-stress after a challenging period. She alluded to the public scrutiny surrounding Watt's business ventures, specifically the collapse of his beer brand BrewDog, which reportedly amassed over £500 million in debt before entering administration. Toffolo described the fallout as "really difficult to navigate" and suggested that the coinciding stress of these events with their attempts to start a family had been significant.

Toffolo also reflected on the common narrative of quick conception often portrayed, noting that their experience of trying for several months without success felt like a "really weird space." She expressed a desire for more open discussions about the complexities of fertility, stating, "I just wish someone like me had come on and spoken about it."

She described the two-week waiting period after attempting conception as emotionally taxing, with early pregnancy symptoms often mirroring pre-menstrual signs, leading to uncertainty. Toffolo and James Watt married in March 2024 in Scotland.
