Actress Geena Davis, 70, has drawn attention for her consistently youthful appearance, with cosmetic experts offering insights into her age-defying complexion. While Davis herself has attributed her smooth skin to diligent sun protection, professionals suggest that a combination of factors, potentially including aesthetic treatments, may be at play.

Anastasia Koles, an aesthetic nurse and founder of ALTA Medi Clinic London, indicated that Davis, known for her roles spanning decades, likely benefits from subtle cosmetic interventions. "Geena Davis has always been naturally beautiful and has aged incredibly well, but it's also likely that she's had a few subtle aesthetic treatments to help maintain such a youthful appearance at 70," Koles told the Daily Mail.

These potential treatments, according to Koles, could include procedures aimed at improving skin quality rather than drastically altering features. Options such as Lumecca IPL treatments might be used to reduce pigmentation and redness, contributing to a bright and clear complexion. Additionally, anti-wrinkle injections like Botox could soften expression lines while preserving natural movement. For the lower face and neck, skin-tightening treatments such as Morpheus8 or other radiofrequency microneedling procedures might be employed to stimulate collagen and maintain firmness.

"Combined with a medical-grade skincare routine, regular treatments such as chemical peels or gentle laser resurfacing, and good sun protection, it's entirely possible to achieve a result that looks refreshed, natural and age-appropriate rather than obviously 'done,'" Koles explained.

Davis has previously stated her commitment to sun protection, telling New Beauty in June that she has consistently used sunscreen since her early twenties. "I’m firmly convinced that part of it is that I don’t take the sun. I always have sunblock on," she said. She also noted that she never developed a tan as a child, as she would burn easily, a realization that led her to avoid the sun.

Despite the speculation, Davis has expressed pride in her age. In a May interview with Yahoo, she stated, "I think it's fabulous. I've liked myself better every year. I even think I look better every year!" However, she has also spoken out about ageism in Hollywood, particularly regarding the casting of actresses over 40. "Women peak in their 20s and 30s, and men peak in their 40s and 50s as far as actors go," she observed on the Allison Interviews podcast. "So the male stars of the movies want to appear to be younger than they are, or they want to appeal to younger people, so they always want a co-star who is really young."

Davis also humorously admitted to occasionally purchasing skincare products seen on TikTok but not consistently using them. "I don’t do anything but I’ve been a sucker for buying some products I’ve seen on TikTok!" she confessed. "If I hear that something is anti-aging or will make my skin better, I buy it—but then I never use it!"
