Gaz Beadle has revealed the name of his newborn daughter, Maeve. The "Geordie Shore" star and his girlfriend, nursing graduate Maia Ellen, welcomed their first child together on September 8, 2026. The baby girl arrived after a 40-hour labor.
Beadle shared the news on social media, announcing Maeve Mary Shirley Beadle's arrival. The newborn weighed 9 pounds at birth. "Our chunky girl, completely worth the wait. We couldn't love you more if we tried," Beadle wrote in a post.
Maiellen described her daughter as "beautiful" and noted her strong bond with her father. Beadle also shared an image of himself practicing skin-to-skin contact with the newborn.
Beadle, 38, announced the birth earlier in the week, posting photos from the hospital. "She's here after 40 hours of what felt like a life time @maiaelx was incredible... there really is no other feeling like it she is perfect... Time to get her home," he wrote.
Fellow "Geordie Shore" cast members, including Abbie Holborn and Chloe Ferry, sent congratulations. Chris Hughes and Dan Osborne also offered their well wishes.
Beadle and Ellen, 24, first announced they were expecting in February 2026. They revealed they were having a daughter in April at their baby shower.
Beadle has two children from a previous relationship with Emma McVey: Chester, seven, and Primrose, four. He and McVey married in July 2021 and later divorced.
Beadle and Ellen made their relationship public in 2024. He has previously called Ellen "inspirational" for her support following his split from McVey.
