A former Pentagon employee and his wife reported observing a silent, translucent, triangle-shaped aircraft over their Colorado home in October 2023, according to newly released FBI files. The account is part of the fifth batch of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) files disclosed under an order by former President Donald Trump.

The sighting occurred late one night, with the witnesses estimating the object was flying as low as 300 feet. In a summary report, the witness described the UAP as a "perfect triangle" lacking wings, fins, or visible engine housing. The object reportedly appeared "almost see-through" with a distortion or haze around it, likened to looking through mist or an object underwater.

The former employee emphasized that the aircraft was completely silent, and he felt no vibrations or other effects as it passed overhead. The incident was documented in an FBI interview summary, a Form 302, conducted in January of the current year.

Former President Trump, who mandated the increased transparency regarding UAP, has publicly expressed skepticism about the existence of extraterrestrial life. This disclosure follows comments made by former President Barack Obama, who stated in February that while aliens "are real," he had not personally encountered any.
