Former New York City Mayor Eric Adams was observed exchanging phone numbers with women at a Sports Illustrated party held at Cipriani Wall Street on Saturday night. The event, which celebrated the conclusion of the World Cup, featured performances by 50 Cent and Diplo.

Video footage obtained by Page Six appeared to show Adams engaging with attendees on the dance floor. According to a source present at the event, Adams exchanged numbers with two women. His representative, however, characterized these interactions as standard networking, aligning with Adams' public persona.

"Eric Adams didn’t earn the nickname ‘the Nightlife Mayor’ by sitting home on Saturday nights," a spokesperson for Adams stated. "Eric arrived on his own, greeted people, met new faces, and like he’s done for more than 40 years, exchanged phone numbers. That’s called networking."

The spokesperson further emphasized that there was "absolutely nothing improper" about Adams' conduct during the evening. "Eric Adams has always enjoyed meeting people from all walks of life, and Saturday night was no different," they added.

Adams, who is in a long-term relationship with Department of Education staffer Tracey Collins, has been known for his active social life. He was reportedly granted Albanian citizenship earlier this year and is expected to announce future endeavors.
