A Florida woman has been indicted by a grand jury on 14 felony counts, including attempted murder, for allegedly firing a rifle at the Los Angeles home of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky.

Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 36, of Orlando, faces charges including 10 counts of assault with an assault weapon and three counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling or camper. The indictment, unsealed Wednesday by a Los Angeles County judge, supersedes charges previously filed against Ortiz.

Ortiz pleaded not guilty and is being held on $2.6 million bail. The indictment comes after a judge ruled that Ortiz is mentally competent to stand trial. Secret grand jury proceedings were held while Ortiz underwent months of psychiatric evaluation. The jurors returned their indictment on June 18, but it remained sealed until the competency ruling.

Authorities allege that on March 8, Ortiz drove a Tesla to the Beverly Hills-area property, pointed an AR-15-style rifle out the window, and fired at least 20 rounds toward the property and a neighboring house. Bullets reportedly tore through an Airstream trailer where the couple was present, and struck the wall of their home's nursery, where their three young children were with their nanny. Rihanna's mother and several staffers were also in the home.

"This is a person who wanted to kill Rihanna," Deputy District Attorney Alexander Bott said outside court. "Everyone else was collateral damage."

During an interview with investigators on the day of her arrest, Ortiz reportedly stated, "I wasn't attempting murder."

The indictment names the couple's children, Rza, Riot, and Rocki, all under age 5, as victims in the assault weapon counts. If convicted of all charges, Ortiz could face life in prison. Prosecutors have not disclosed a motive or any connection between Ortiz and the musical artists.

Ortiz, a licensed speech pathologist, has no prior criminal record. Her attorney has stated that they will work to defend her rights. The case, which had appeared stalled due to psychiatric evaluations, is now moving toward trial.
