A Florida retiree has found herself at the center of attention in her retirement community after receiving a license plate with a provocative message. Nancy Dello Stritto, a resident of Pompano Beach, expressed shock and disbelief upon discovering her new plate bore the number "SQZ A55."

Dello Stritto, who is approaching 77 years old, stated she was taken aback by the plate's content, questioning how it could have passed official inspection. She initially received the replacement plate in the mail without noticing its inscription.

While some neighbors have suggested she exchange the plate, her family and sons have reportedly encouraged her to keep it. Dello Stritto has ultimately decided to keep the plate, curious to see what reactions it might generate. "I'm resigned to it; maybe it was destined for it to be on my car," she commented, adding that she is prepared for potential attention, such as honking from other drivers.

According to reports, Florida license plates have been produced at a state prison in North Florida for nearly a century before being distributed through state agencies. Officials in Broward County have stated that plates deemed offensive can be exchanged free of charge.
