A Florida man has been arrested for allegedly smashing up an Arby's restaurant with a metal pipe, less than a month after being released from prison for killing a swan. Adonis Leyva, 34, was taken into custody on Monday following the incident in Orlando.
According to an arrest warrant, Leyva first smashed the window of an Arby's location, then proceeded to a nearby Dunkin' Donuts and damaged its sign. He then reportedly hurled the metal pipe at passing cars on East Colonial Drive before being apprehended at a Wawa convenience store.
Leyva had been released last month after serving less than a year of his sentence for animal cruelty. He had previously pleaded no contest to killing a swan at Lake Eola, a popular park in Orlando, the previous year. Witnesses reported Leyva stating he killed the bird for
