Firefighters responded to a fire at the Encore Las Vegas hotel on Thursday afternoon, where smoke had filled a room on the 56th floor. The Clark County Fire Department contained the blaze to a single room, which was equipped with activated sprinklers.
The incident occurred around 3 p.m. at the Encore, a luxury hotel owned by Wynn Resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
The Encore hotel is known for its upscale accommodations and also houses the XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club.
