The FBI is investigating a shooting incident that occurred Tuesday afternoon at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Phoenix. One or more unidentified individuals fired rounds that struck the exterior of the Enforcement and Removal Operations building.

No injuries were reported in connection with the incident. Video from FOX 10 Phoenix showed damage to the building, with apparent bullet holes visible in windows. The FBI's Phoenix Field Office is handling the investigation and is asking anyone with information to contact them.

The shooting comes as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced new body camera requirements for ICE arrest teams. DHS cited a significant increase in attacks against ICE personnel, with assaults reportedly rising by more than 1,300% and vehicle attacks by over 3,300%.

A DHS spokesperson stated that ensuring all ICE law enforcement officers nationwide have body cameras is a top priority, particularly given the rise in attacks and what the department described as "smears about our law enforcement" from media and "sanctuary politicians."

The motive for the Phoenix shooting has not been released, and no suspect information has been made available.
