Farrah Abraham, known for her past appearances on MTV's "16 & Pregnant" and "Teen Mom," has filed to run for the Austin City Council. The Texas-based media personality confirmed her political aspirations in recent statements.

Abraham, 35, expressed her desire to give back to the city that has been her home. "I think running for local city council in your city and doing, like, a district, I think that really opens your eyes to what and how you can improve and give back to a city that's given you so much," she stated. She also added, "I think everyone who has been in the public eye should give back to the community wherever they are."

Abraham first gained public recognition as a teenager on "16 & Pregnant" before becoming a prominent figure in "Teen Mom" starting in 2009. Since her initial rise to fame, she has engaged in various ventures, including authoring a New York Times bestseller, releasing an experimental music album, and participating in multiple reality television programs such as "Celebrity Big Brother" and "Ex on the Beach."

In addition to her entertainment career, Abraham has been open about undergoing numerous cosmetic procedures over the years. She has stated that her extensive surgeries, including a "liquid BBL" which utilizes injectable dermal fillers rather than fat transfer or implants, have cost upwards of six figures. Abraham has referred to her physique as a "million-dollar body." Outside of surgical procedures, she maintains her fitness through strength training and a high-protein diet. Abraham has also spoken about managing ongoing health issues affecting her jaw and neck, for which she plans to undergo surgery.

Beyond her political ambitions and public profile, Abraham has also established a presence on OnlyFans and previously starred in adult entertainment.
