Esmé Creed-Miles opted for a stylish change of attire for the premiere of "Sense and Sensibility" in London's Leicester Square on Tuesday evening. After gracing the red carpet in a dramatic gown, the 26-year-old actress, who plays Marianne Dashwood in the new Jane Austen adaptation, changed into a sheer blue-striped blouse paired with smart black trousers. She had previously appeared in a striking white full skirt and cropped black blazer.

Miles styled her dark hair in loose waves and sported a smoky makeup look. She was joined by co-star Daisy Edgar Jones, who portrays Elinor Dashwood, and other cast members. Edgar Jones wore a plunging satin gown with bow detailing and a leg slit.

This marks a reunion for Creed-Miles and Edgar Jones, who previously worked together as teenagers on the 2018 film "Pond Life."

The new "Sense and Sensibility" is based on Jane Austen's debut novel, chronicling the story of two sisters navigating love and heartbreak within the social constraints of 18th-century Britain. The narrative follows the three Dashwood sisters and their mother as they are forced to relocate from their family estate, Norland Park, to a modest cottage in Devon after their father's death. There, they experience life on the fringes of their former society and encounter new romantic interests.

The film highlights the contrasting approaches of the sisters to courtship: Elinor, the elder sister, is guided by practicality, while Marianne is driven by her emotions. The ensemble cast also includes Fiona Shaw, George MacKay, Frank Dillane, Herbert Nordrum, Caitríona Balfe, and Bodhi Rae Breathnach as the youngest Dashwood sister, Margaret.

Directed by Georgia Oakley, the film is produced by the team behind "Pride & Prejudice" (2005) and "Emma" (2020). The adaptation aims to capture the yearning, drama, and wit characteristic of Austen's work, with a screenplay by Diana Reid that preserves elements of the original novel.

The film is set for release in the UK on September 25.
