Kim Scott, the ex-wife of rapper Eminem, was hospitalized over the weekend following an apparent suicide attempt. Emergency responders were dispatched to her home after a caller reported that Scott, 51, had cut her wrists and was bleeding heavily.

Dispatch audio obtained by TMZ indicated that the caller stated Scott was "unconscious now" and that the caller had managed to remove a knife from her hand. Paramedics arrived and found Scott suffering from a "hemorrhage" or "laceration" with significant bleeding. She was placed on a gurney and transported to McLaren Macomb Hospital. Her current condition is unknown.

This is not the first time Scott has reportedly attempted suicide. In October 2015, she admitted to an intentional suicide attempt following a single-vehicle accident in Macomb Township, Michigan. Six years later, in July 2021, Scott reportedly attempted suicide again after the death of her mother. At that time, she was discovered bleeding excessively in her Michigan home.

Scott, formerly known as Kim Mathers, has also faced recent legal challenges. In May, she was arrested for driving under the influence, three days after appearing in court on similar charges. She allegedly struck a parked car while driving and registered nearly three times the legal blood alcohol limit. A warrant was later issued for her arrest when she failed to appear for her DUI hearing.

Eminem, born Marshall Bruce Mathers III, and Scott were married from 1999 to 2001. They remarried in January 2006, but Eminem filed for divorce just three months later. The couple has three children together: Hailie Jade Mathers, Alaina Marie Scott, and Stevie Laine Mathers. Scott also has a son named Parker from a previous relationship.
