Emily Head has returned to work on the set of the third "The Inbetweeners" film, marking her first public appearance since the deaths of her father, actor Anthony Head, and her mother, Sarah Fisher.

Head, 37, who portrayed Carli D'Amato, the girlfriend of Simon Cooper (played by Joe Thomas) in the series, was present on the first day of filming. The actress is confirmed to be featured in the upcoming movie.

Her father, Anthony Head, known for his roles in "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and "Ted Lasso," passed away in June at the age of 72. His death occurred six months after his partner, Sarah Fisher, died of thyroid cancer at 61.

Filming for the new "The Inbetweeners" movie involved the main cast members Simon Bird (Will McKenzie), Joe Thomas (Simon Cooper), James Buckley (Jay Cartwright), and Blake Harrison (Neil Sutherland). They were photographed in suits outside a church, apparently filming a wedding scene. It is not yet known which character is getting married, but Emily Head's character, Carli, is not the bride in this scene.

Marina Bye, daughter of Ruby Wax, is reportedly playing the character tying the knot in the wedding scene, though her character's identity and the groom remain undisclosed.

Emily Head's family released a statement following her father's death, describing him as an "extraordinary father" who passed away peacefully from pneumonia. The statement also highlighted his love for his work and gratitude for his colleagues and the productions he was part of.

Anthony Head's extensive acting career included a prominent role as Rupert Giles in the supernatural series "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" (1997-2003) and as Rupert Mannion in the Apple TV comedy "Ted Lasso." He also appeared in "Little Britain" and the BBC series "Merlin."
